Hi friends,

I added a few rows to the sheep, the flowers and the pumpkins :)

Can’t wait to be at the end of the week! I’ll be on vacation for 4 weeks. I’ll have all the time to sew, stitch and take pictures of my dolls ;)

Kitty picture bonus:

I took the picture yesterday morning while I was preparing my breakfast…

Hide-and-seek

Have a nice weekend.

I’m still here :)

Hi everyone! I have been quite busy lately but I have a new project to show :)

It is “Autumn blessings” by Shepherd’s Bush.

Isn’t the sheep adorable? I don’t know how many SB charts I have but I really love this designer, but I think you already know LOL.

Oh and thank you all for your nice comment about my last garment. I finished a dress today but I need to wash and iron it before I take a picture ;)

First of all, thank you all for your nice comments, I appreciate them a lot.

Today, the entry is about a new garment. I have some old Burda magazines and there was that pattern I liked a lot. It looked like more difficult to sew than everything I’ve done but why not try? LOL

Some of you who knows Burda magazines, knows that explanations are not always clear and I have to say that’s what happened here. Plus one of the pieces was not at the good size (a few centimeters were missing). But with patience and the help of my mother I finished it. It is not perfect but the result is not so bad (maybe not enough adjusted waist).

Next on my list is a dress from a Burda Magazine (hope the explanations will be easier to follow). Again, it’s from an old issue (October 2007).

Have nice day my friends.

Primavera done!

I haven’t been around a lot lately, sorry for that…

Even though I didn’t post any update here, I stiched a lot and finished Primavera.

I like it a lot! I made some changes with the deads as I didn’t have the right colours, but no mattesr, they are perfect that way. ;)

My next project will  be “Autumn blessings” by Shepherd’s Bush. Hope I’ll have more time to share pictures with you.

Enjoy your weekend.

Tulips

Here is a picture of my update on Primavera.

It took me a long time to finish the tulips because I made a mistake and had to undo them… In fact, when I was about to finish the last tulip, I realized I used a wrong thread (wrong colour)! As it is a kit, I has to undo the tulips or I wouldn’t have enough thread to finish it. I have to add that the tulips are stitched over one…

A dress for a doll

Some of you knows I have a collection of dolls (see my other blog here). I really love to make outfits for my dolls.

I used a Barbie-sized pattern to make this one, but of course I had to enlarge it a lot as the doll is 41 cm tall (16″ if I’m not wrong).

It took me 2 days to sew it (I made the dress the first day and the bolero the other one).

Isoleen l'enchanteresse

I tried to do the sleeves in a different way (I wanted them to look more medieval) but as I had no pattern it wasn’t successful so I made them like they were on the pattern.

The instructions were not very clear to follow but with patience I made it! ;)

New start: Primavera

First of all I’d like to thank you all for your nice comments about my last finish :)

Here is my new start. It is from the same designer (Calendula).

I hope you’ll enjoy to see my progress on this project as much as you appreciated Sperenza.

Sperenza, all done :)

Isn’t it beautiful? The colours are so bright!

I made some changes with the beads as I didn’t have the listed ones, but no matter, they are close to the right colours so they perfectely match with the design :)

My new project will be from the same designer but the colours will be softer.

Have a nice weekend everyone :)

Progress on Sperenza

I was sure you would appreciate Plume’s picture ;)

The border on Sperenza is almost done.

I just need to stitch the 4 corners and it will be done.
