“Oriental Butterfly” (Dimension)

As most of my stitched work, I won’t framed it or anything, but I’ll put it safely in a drawer. I know it’s sad, but you see, my pleasure is to stitch. Nevertheless, I love to show my work, the only thing is that it’s not on my walls…

Next project is a kimono (same style as the butterfly).

Couldn’t have a better model to test my new camera…

Backstitch is still missing

It’s really colourful and I love it!

I just need to add the chinese characters on each sides of the butterfly and the backstitch to finish the design.

The blog where you can find pictures of my dolls is now both in french and english.

Douce Plume

I joined 2 Artist Trading Cards swaps on Swap-bot.

The theme of first one was “Owl” and here are the 2 ATCs I made.

I used Distress inks and pictures I found online.

The theme of the second swap was “Pigs can fly” and here are the ATCs I made.

Again, I used Distress inks and pictures found online.

This is my progress on the butterfly.

I like the contrast between the colours of the butterfly and the background.

As you can see, her hair is growing again, I like how soft it is.

I finished this dress last weekend. I was supposed to sew it this summer but couldn’t find time to do it…

I haven’t worn it yet and thought I wouldn’t do it until next summer but I realized that I could wear a tee-shirt under (thanks to the stretched fabric LOL).

It is Isabelle’s fault and her Little Black dress if I bought this pattern

I made a back vent for the first time and the explanations were very clear.

I’d love to make that dress again, maybe in black (I hope you don’t mind Isabelle) as I think it is very “chic” and “indémodable” (as Isabelle well said).

Things are going back to normal with Plume. She doesn’t seem to suffer anymore (what a relieve). She walks normally, climbs on her favourite spots (near the window, on the table  – she sometimes has troubles to climb on the sitting room’s table but it’s ok if she can use a chair to help her -). She even played a little with me earlier today.
