for your support.
I took the decision to bring Plume to the vet for a surgery, I want her to have a chance to live a little longer. I know there will be a recurrence but I don’t know when. I pray God that it will not happen before 2 or 3 years…
Plume will spend the night at the clinic and I’ll bring her home tomorrow morning.
Again, thank you all, your words mean a lot to me.

Thank you all for your friendly messages unfortunately I have bad news…
The vet told me it has grown too much and too fast (it has trebled in 2 months) and that she’s not optimistic.
It can be operated with a high risk of recurrence 2 or 3 months later. On the other side it’s her only chance to be saved if it is possible…
If nothing is done, she will live one year at the most. If she’s operated, it will depend on a recurrence or not…
I’ll take the decision today…

Is it better with colours, isn’t it?

~*~
I’ll go to the vet with Plume on Monday. In July when I went there for her vaccination, I showed the vet something that was on her left shoulder blade. He told me it could be a cyst or a tumour and added that I should come back if I see that it is growing.
I think it is growing but I am not sure, I mean it depends on the way she stands… So I think it’s better to see the vet again so he will be able to see if she needs some surgery to have it removed. I hope it’s juste a cyst…

I made this skirt (Simplicity 3794) a few weeks ago.
I bought the fabric during my summer break but I wasn’t sure about the pattern. In fact, when I purchased the pattern, I had the perfect fabric for it but unfortunately, I didn’t have enough fabric to make the skirt, so I had to find something else…
The fabric wasn’t too hard to work with despite its fluidity. The problem is that it crumples a lot (as you can see on the picture).
When I went to the store to find some fabric, I purchased a lovely grey with white stripes fabric that would be perfect for a dress. I should be able to show you a picture of the finished dress soon
Have a nice week.

I read it on the sewing instructions but can’t find a translation in french so I have no clue what it is exactly. Does it have to be done by hand or not?
Can someone explain, please ?

I didn’t stitch during the last two evenings because of a migraine but I’ve made some progress on the butterfly.
I added some colours to the wings

Isn’t it better with some colours?

First of all, I’d like to thank you for your friendly messages, they means a lot to me {{{hugs}}}
This is an update on my butterfly.

I appreciate the fact that it’s easier to undo on aida LOL! I made amistake with the black colour and it would have been horrible to undo it on linen and would have left marks on the fabric…
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

I’ve started this butterfly a few days ago. I love the design but it is hard to go back to aida. As the fabric is printed (you can see some of the japanese designs), I don’t have the choice…
Hope you’ll have pleasure to follow my progress on this japanese butterfly

I am no one
I am nothing
I am a ghost among human beings
I am invisible
Nobody sees me
Nobody talks to me
Nobody cares
I am alone
I am dead inside
I am scared
I am blind
Everybody plots
Everybody betrays
Everyboady moans
I am no one
I am insignificant
I am disappearing
Am I…?

I love it!
I already know what my next projects will be. I have 3 Dimension kits I want to stitch: 2 butterflies and 1 kimono. I will have to work on aida, it’s going to be weird to work on that kind of fabric as I now mostly work on linen…
