Most of you know about it. I finished it last year but couldn’t find time to finish it… But it is done now 🙂 And I’m proud to have it on my living room’s wall.

Want to see a picture?

I added the last stitches to my banner a few days ago…

Before I show you the whole piece, I’d like to thank you for encouragements while I was stitching it. It was a so large project (the largest I’ve ever done) and sometimes it was like « pfff, I think I’ll never finish it, it’s too big… ». You were always there to tell me how beautiful the banner was (is) and I want to dance with you now that it is done!

I’m glad it is finished, not that I was fed up with it or anything, but I just wanted to get it done and admire it.

Started: August 4th 2005
Finished: May 28th 2007
Fabric: 32 ct Vintage light linen
Fibers: DMC +Wildflowers by Caron

I’ll show you a new picture when the finishing is done 🙂

Wanna see South now?

It’s a bad picture that doesn’t show very well the colours (the S is green…).

I’m close to the end as I only have to stitch the last 2 rows (see the red square on the picture below) and then I’m done with the banner 🙂

I’d like to tell you that I really appreciate your kindness and interest 🙂 I don’t have a lot of time to comment on your blogs but YOU still comment on my blog (I promise I’ll do my best soon to comment more on your blogs). Even though you are less numerous to read my blog (compared to my french readers) I have many more comments here.

Thank you for being here 🙂
