Yes, my RR is home! Remember, my theme was Bent Creek’s Streets Signs. It was organized on Renée’s board and my partners were Jenna, Cathy and Catherine Michèle.

Look at it, it is so beautiful!

You can see that I’m not the only one to like it 😉

Jenna stitched Autumn, Cathy did Summer and Catherine Michèle’s part was Winter.

I still have to do some French knots and I’ll see how I will finish it (maybe as a wall hanging).

This RR was really a smooth one, every one was so friendly and we communicated a lot. This was my third RR and I can tell you it was the best group and I’m so proud that I was a part of this RR!

I’d like to congratulate my partners for their wonderful job. Thank you so much, Jenna, Cathy and Catherine Michèle for doing such a wonderful job on my piece, I really love this RR.

Yesterday evening, I finished my work on Jenna’s round robin.

Her theme is The Sweetheart Tree Hearts. The charts have a lot of specialty stitches as I like. It was hard to choose a design among the remaining ones and as I wanted to stitch one that would match the best with the ones already stitched, I did this one.

Jenna will add the charms later.

Here is the whole piece.

It is gorgeous, isn’t it?

It was a real pleasure to stitch this design, maybe this is the reason why I only needed 4 evenings to stitch it…

Have a lovely weekend.

I’m just done with Cathy’s RR. I didn’t think I woud spend so much time to do the back stitch, but the chart wasn’t easy to ready so I had some troubles… But I had no problem with the french knots! I think it’s the first time Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I can say I really like my poppies.

I’m ready for the next and last rotation and I’m waiting to receive Jenna’s RR but before, I’m going to try to start the Carriage House Sampler Alphabet, maybe tomorrow…

As I feel better now, I can go back to my cross stitch and work on Cathy’s RR.

I don’t know if you remember it, but her theme is « flowers ». Cathy is a talented stitcher, so I had to find a lovely design to stitch. I saw some lovely poppies (Anchor design) and thought it would be a beautiful design.

Here is my progress.

It is a pleasant design to stitch even though you have to be careful with the different shades of red.I’m not done with it yet, but I should at the end of next week.

Of course, I’ll show you the result.

Today, I received Cathy’s lovely RR from Catherine Michelle. Catherine Michelle had so many things to do that she wasn’t able to finish her square and decided to send me the parcel so I can stitch my square, then Jenna will stitch her and the RR will be sent back to Catherine so she can finish her square before the parcel went back to Cathy.

I will work on this RR as soon as I’m done with what I’m stitching. I think I’ll be able to start at the beginning of next week.

Here is a picture of the parcel.

I finished today my design on Catherine’s RR (RR organized on Renée’s board).Catherine’s theme is birds. Her fabric is unusual but after a few stitches, it is OK and very pleasant to stitch on.

I chose to stitch « Boreal Chickadee » (Crossed Wing Collection). This designer is one of Catherine’s favourite and her bird came from the same designer. This design was easy and quick to stitch (I did it in 3 days) and also very realistic. This is my bird

I don’t know yet what I’m going to stitch this evening. In fact, I have 2 options:
– sew my needleroll (BTW thanks a lot for your comments on my previous post, they were much appreciated)
– start the needleroll for the exchange

Hard to choose…

This RR was the first one I joined and at the beginning I didn’t think we would be 12! But 2 girls pulled out during the RR and so most of us (at the end) decided to stitch another square so everyone can have her RR finished. Isn’t it wonderful?
It has made my day to have it home and I can’t thank you all enough!
Really, this international RR (UK, USA, Malaysia and France) will always remain as a wonderful adventure.
