I received this lovely exchange from Ulla today.
Thank you very much, I love everything! 🙂
I received today my last exchange from Nancy who was my partner for the seasonal exchange.
Look at all the lovely colours! And the pillow cover is so cute (I love Brittercup’s designs).
Thank you very much Nancy for this lovely exchanges and the other ones you sent through the round, I cherish them all. 🙂
This is my last entry before mid-July as I’ll leave in two days for Shannon (Ireland). Hope to come back with a lot of pictures to share with you (not sure the weather will be good though). 🙂
I finally received it. I say « finally » because we thought it was lost something between the US and France as Nancy sent it a long time ago!
Nancy sent me a wonderful package full of lovely things.
Everything in my favorite colour 🙂
I was thinking about stitching the L*K design on the small pillow but it is so small that I think the design will be too big!
Look at the gorgeous pinkeep, stitched over one!
Gorgeous, isn’t it?
Thank you very much Nancy for this another wonderful exchange, I just love everything!!!
Big hugs to you 🙂
It’s the title of a design (by Brittercup Designs) I stitched for Vonna for the last round of the seasonal exchange.
I finished it as a pocket and added a fob to complete the set 🙂
I also added several goodies that you would see if you visit Vonna’s blog.
I really really enjoyed this year of exchanges and it has always been a pleasure to prepare parcels for Vonna. It was great to know her better and to spoil her 😉 I will miss our exchanges, Vonna but I’m sure it will not be the last surprise you’ll receive from me 😉
Vonna emailed me yesterday to let me know she received the winter exchange I mailed one week ago (it amazes me sometimes how parcels can reach the USA so quickly compared to parcels mailed within my own country).
I stitched a Country cottage needleworks design and finished it as a key hanger.
It is stitched 1 over 1 on a linen fabric (I think it’s a 32 ct) and used some DMC threads (including metallic) as I didn’t have the variated threads suggested.
I added some goodies but didn’t take any picture of them (nevertheles, you can see them on Vonna’s blog).
I really had fun with this one and I’m ready for the next exchange 😉
I received an email from Amy today saying that my exchange arrived.
For this frosty friends exchange, I chose a Bent Creek design: Snow. I changes the colors as I wanted them to match with the fabric and finished it as a banner.
I added some goodies (Snowman button, threads and chart) but forgot to take a picture of them, nevertheless you can see them on Amy’s blog.
I really had a lot of fun with this exchange 🙂
I’m almost done with my next exchange (the seasonal one) so Vonna, be prepared to receive a parcel soon 😉
