This is a bookmark I made for an exchange on Swap-bot. I had fun making it 🙂

Plume does feel better. Sunday has been a very hard day and she suffered a lot. On Monday, the vet gave me some analgesic for her. And yesterday, she received some laxative…

It must be painful for her to move but for the first time since the surgery, she’s on the table (right now). She seems to eat with pleasure.

I took some pictures to show you her large bandage – 20 cm long (8″). The ones of you who know how big Maine Coon cats are will imagine the size of the removed tissues…

Again, thank you all for your thoughts, good vibes, prayers and everything. It means a lot to me!

I few years ago, I bought a kit to do a pinkeep, a stumpwork pinkeep. When I received it, I wasn’t sure I would be able to do it so I left it in a drawer.

A few weeks ago, I put the hand on the kit and decided it was time to try and see if I could do something good with it…

It was my first attempt on stumpwork and this is the result:

I have to admit is wasn’t easy but not as hard as I thought. And even though it is full of imperfections, the result is not so bad (I hope). 🙂

I made this « banner » for Isabelle. As she emailed me to say she received it, I can show you the picture 🙂

It took me a long time to sew it by hand and the result is not too bad (except if you look at the back LOL…).

I guess she’ll find some of Plume’s hair on it even though I did my best to remove them.

I know it is not perfect, Isabelle, but I’m glad you like it despite all the defaults 🙂

Thank you all for your nice comments about my skirt and my « not so horrible face » 😉

A few days ago, I made a kitty pincushion. This is a Christmas gift for my Mum.

It’s a Cotton Ginnys’ pattern and when I saw it, I’ve just fallen in love with it 🙂

I like a lot the sewing machine cover too (the one with the cat).

I made a second pincushion and couldn’t help playing with Plume while I made it…

Friday, I was invited to participate in a sewing workshop at Isabelle‘s, oops sorry at P’tite Mignonne’s 😉

I was very excited to meet two good friends and to cuddle P’tite Mignonne. I wasn’t sure I could go at first because the meeting was supposed to be today, but it wouldn’t have been possible… Julie and Isabelle wanted so much that I could be here that they decided to organize it two days before (thank you so much!). To thank them, I made them each a snail pincushion.

We had a wonderful time together but I admit I’ve been a bad student… I was supposed to work on a top but when it was time for me to go back to the train station, well the result of my work was…nothing. All I’ve done was chatting with friends, cuddling and listening to our teacher’s advice 🙂

And the top I was supposed to work on was made yesterday…

Isabelle, P’tite Mignonne and Julie, thank you very much for this wonderful day (and Isabelle for the fabric).

Here they are!

You’ll find more pictures here.

It wasn’t easy to do and there are several mistakes and ugly sewn parts but they are hidden so I’m pretty pleased with the result. 🙂

This friendly couple will decorate my parents home at Christmas 🙂

First bag

I made my first bag yesterday. It’s a small one and it was supposed to be larger but I know where I made a mistake 🙂

There was supposed to have a green band at the bottom of the bag (just like the green one at the top), but I don’t mind because I like it.

Of course, Plume was with me and was very interested by my tape measure…

I haven’t received my stuffing today…but I received a lovely card from Sweden 😉
